For IT leaders and technical teams

E-commerce connected to your systems, with an architecture you can manage

Your platform needs to fit your reference systems and operational constraints. Shopware provides the commerce foundation, FroggShop extends it, and AlfredSync handles data exchanges within the agreed scope. Interfaces, adaptations and ownership need assessment before integration.

Give each component a clear role

Shopware

The e-commerce foundation for the project. Its version, extensions and existing customisations form part of the compatibility assessment.

The Shopware foundation

FroggShop

Modular extensions for business requirements, content and customer journeys. Selected modules, configuration and custom development should remain clearly documented.

FroggShop features

AlfredSync

APIs, mappings, statuses and asynchronous processing to organise data exchanges. AlfredSync is not a universal connector: coverage must be checked for each ERP, PIM or other source system.

Plan Alfred integration

Define data flows and how they will be operated

An initial migration and ongoing synchronisation require different acceptance criteria. For a stock or order flow, document the source of truth, direction, identifiers and the procedure for handling discrepancies.

Data contracts

Validate fields, relationships, access rights and mappings against representative data. Available interfaces determine the adaptations needed.

Errors and recovery

Assign ownership for status monitoring, data correction and retry authorisation. A completed technical job does not replace business validation.

Maintainability and delivery

Define environments, tests, observability and rollback conditions. Shopware compatibility and dependency maintenance need to be assessed in the project's context.

Assess the current system before choosing a direction

A targeted fix, revised data flows or a rebuild address different situations. Access to code, interfaces and environments, technical debt and continuity requirements determine whether an intervention is feasible. Support for every existing platform is not assumed.

Prepare for a technical discussion

Bring a system diagram, software versions, critical flows and observed issues. Initial scoping identifies the checks, exclusions and ownership needed before deciding what to undertake.
