FroggShop was born at e-Frogg, a French e-commerce agency, to migrate our strategic clients from PrestaShop to Shopware — and capitalise without locking in.
Born from the field, not a lab
e-Frogg is a French e-commerce agency of around fifteen people: consulting, design, development, integration, infrastructure and run. Twenty years in the field, from Flash to Ubaldi, then a long PrestaShop history and our standardised PrestaFrogg offering.
In 2021 we were looking for a new e-commerce base: open source, Symfony, API-first, truly extensible and built to last. Shopware ticked the boxes — the solution we'd have loved to build if it hadn't existed. A first project, U-Techno, confirmed the choice.
In 2023 it became strategic: migrating our long-standing clients — some supported for over 10 years — from a PrestaShop that had reached its limit. Migrating ten years of custom work without paying for it twice, and building to last at least as long. FroggShop was born from this need: capitalise without locking in.

From Flash to FroggShop

E-commerce beginnings
Agency founded around Flash (2004), then a first real e-commerce project with Ubaldi (2005), supported for many years.
The PrestaShop era
PrestaShop becomes our answer for more standardised projects (2008). In 2010, PrestaFrogg pools our e-commerce experience for the first time.
Shopware & FroggShop
Shopware adopted as the new base (2021), validated on U-Techno. In 2023, the migration need gives birth to FroggShop.
