External product ranking in Shopware
Align the catalogue’s display order with the priorities defined in your business tool. FroggShop receives external ranks and applies them in the store’s configured contexts. Going live requires a technical assessment of your environment.
Associate a ranking with a context
Contexts can distinguish a sales channel, a category or a catalogue page. Search and full Storyblok page contexts are also provided for.
Check data before applying it
Supported sources include a local source and BEYABLE. Data must match catalogue references and configured contexts; a dry run lets you check the effects before replacement.
Synchronisation replaces the active ranks as a whole. Provider access, data validation and monitoring of reindexing are part of the rollout.
Plan for unranked products and fallback sorting
A resolved context uses external ranks and the configured sorting for unranked products. When ranking cannot be applied, the configuration provides fallback sorting; native sorting remains necessary as a last resort.
Commercial relevance depends on the source of the ranks. Integration requires validation of contexts, search and caching in the target environment. Rollout to an existing store is subject to a prior technical assessment, particularly of the data schema and deployment process.
