Create stable filtered catalogue pages in Shopware

Provide a stable entry point for a precise product intent or commercial campaign. The e-commerce team creates a filtered catalogue page with a high degree of autonomy, without generating every possible combination.

Create a page from a useful selection

The team pastes a filtered category URL into the administration. Its analysis extracts the category, properties and manufacturer to prepare a filtered catalogue page.

It checks the name, category and filters, then activates the page when ready. No specific development is needed for every selected intent or campaign.

Keep the filters that define the page

Enforced filters are applied server-side on the full page and AJAX requests. They remain in place when visitors add filters or reset the form.

The team chooses to hide them or leave them visible, selected and locked. A visible filter cannot be removed by the visitor.

Connect content, layout and URL

Synchronisation creates or updates the linked CatalogPage. The team manages the content and layout, H1, metadata and the page’s other data there.

An SEO URL is generated. Rebuilding it preserves a manually modified canonical URL unless `--force` is used; page redirects are held in `SeoData`.

Publish by sales channel

Visibility is calculated per sales channel. An inactive page returns 404; a configured redirect, including a forced redirect, can apply before it is displayed.

The sitemap exposes only pages that are active, visible and return 200 for the relevant channel. Pages with no products, inactive pages and non-visible pages are not published entry points.

Prepare a product intent or campaign

For waterproof shoes, the team applies useful filters, pastes the URL and prepares the SEO page, its SEO URL and its dedicated content and layout.

For a back-to-school campaign, it creates the selected range and checks its status on every channel. The shop does not create every filter combination.

Keep V1 boundaries

V1 covers filtered category pages; it does not turn internal searches or other sources into public pages.

Search as an SEO page source, bulk creation, other sources and language-specific visibility are future developments to scope. The feature does not promise rankings or indexing.
