Post-login redirect in Shopware
Maintain navigation continuity when customers sign in. FroggShop passes a return destination to supported login journeys.
Resume the journey after sign-in
The account menu login form can receive the current page’s route and parameters. Sign-in then has a destination rather than systematically returning the customer to the account home page.
Plan the return to checkout
During checkout, the customer reaches the designated registration and login page. With social login, access from this page can direct the return to confirmation.
The selected destination depends on the form and journey used. Customer information required for the order still needs to be completed.
Check destinations in the theme in use
Injecting the destination requires the redirect fields and theme hooks. It is not a general restoration of all data or parameters from an earlier page.
Error cases, pages that have become inaccessible and account recovery journeys must be tested. A redirect to confirmation validates neither the basket nor its payment.
