Shipping address: check the destination after ordering in Shopware
Let customers check the destination of their purchase. Order confirmation shows the recorded shipping address alongside the billing address.
Find the destination in the summary
The theme displays a delivery block when the order has deliveries or a primary delivery. The billing block remains separately identified.
Customers can distinguish the delivery location from the details used for billing.
Use the address recorded on the order
The display uses the order’s delivery data through the Shopware mechanism. Store collection and pickup point journeys can record their specific destination there when enabled.
Choosing an address during purchase changes the shipping context and triggers a basket recalculation in the relevant journeys.
Distinguish display, address book and changes
Confirmation shows a destination; it does not, on its own, allow changes to an order already placed. Your operations team defines the post-purchase correction procedure.
The behaviour of the account’s default address must be checked separately from the summary. Orders without delivery and those with multiple destinations require validation of their presentation.
